Oh but see the concept of free will absolves God of all responsibility for any hellish burnings. And of course it's all the rage in Christianity today to praise Him for His eternal grace for allowing the select few into heaven. A nice little deal he's got going, really...

If God is all knowing he would have known that in creating mankind the overwheliming majority of people who would ever live would have to be totured in hell for all eternity. Armed with this knowledge the question begs, why do it (creation) in the first place?

Under Christian theology, humans have the free will choice to accept or reject God and to follow or reject the temptation of sin. Assuming this version of reality is true, what happens when you go to heaven? Do you stop wanting to sin? Is it impossible to sin? Or can you still choose to reject God and be sent to hell? Will there be free will in heaven?

This YouTube video illustrates the absurdity of it all: What Wouldn't Jesus Do?

Free will with very severe consequences is no free will at all. When we really boil it down God is saying do as I tell you to do or burn in Hell for all eternity which is not free will now is it. If God had said you can follow me if you choose to and if you choose not to that's ok too, it's entirely up to you. That would be free will.

Which brings me to the next point Sin, so just to help me understand this Sin is defined as disobedience to God. Ok so Sin then is not doing as God tells you to do and therefore if you exercise your "free will" freely you are sinning. Doesn't leave a lot of room for free will does it.

So it's do as I tell you to do or burn in hell for all eternity - yep that's real free.
